JR Hearts is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that began in memory of sweet Jackson.  Jackson was born with transposition of the great arteries and underwent open heart surgery when he was only five days old.  When he was able to finally go home he was a happy and healthy little boy but moved on to love his family from heaven just before his first birthday.

In Jackson's honor JR Hearts provides financial assistance to Wisconsin families who are caring for a child facing major medical challenges.  Families in need may apply for a grant, which is awarded annually.

Jack of My Heart

In the Reese Family Blog, Jackson's family shares their experiences with us through their blog called Jack of My Heart.  It is a story of love, grief, and hope.

Jr Warriors

These kiddos are the bravest people you could ever know.  For a short time in their medical journey JR Hearts was able to offer their family some relief in the form of financial assistance.  You can read about them at Jr Warriors.

Family Grant

Financial assistance is provided through a family grant.  To learn if your family qualifies, please visit JR Hearts' website and review the Grant Process tab.

The grant is made possible through the generosity of JR Hearts donors.  To make a contribution and help with their mission, please donate.

Keeping Dollars Local

Since its inception Charitable Hops works to give back to our community.  That means driving our grassroots efforts to see that your charitable donations stay in Lake Country.  We have been fortunate to work with some truly remarkable organizations.

If you are involved with a 501(c)(3) charity or would like to nominate a charity that is near to your heart, please contact Mary Tylicki for information on future events at
